Steps to choose Research Topic
Step 1:
Pick 4 subjects from your previous degree which gave you the highest grades.
Step 2:
Pick 4 subjects that interested you the most (Your favorite subject of yours).
Step 3:
Find the common subjects in both.
Step 4:
Search for your Department in leading universities of the world ( Top 100 Universities).
Step 5:
Look for professors who work in the subjects identified in Step 3 above.
Step 6:
Download the 5 latest research papers from at least 10 of those professors and read them.
How to Download Research paper from Google?
1) Go to Google scholar,
2)Type your keyword, for example, “Machine Learning.”
3) Research papers published in 2021 and 2022 will appear in front of you. Select 5 to 10 papers and then copy the title of the papers in a doc file and save these.
4) Download the papers (with those titles).
Now your question will be how to read and what to do next.
- Read title => How is the title? interesting?
If No? Leave it.
- If Yes? Read abstract => interesting?
If No? Leave it.
- If Yes? Read conclusion => interesting?
If No? Leave it.
- If Yes? Read results & discussions => interesting?
If No? Leave it.

Tips: Wherever you see jargon, difficult equations, or too complex things, don’t take tension, just skip to the next topic. Do the same for all papers.
