Before writing an SOP, make sure you have searched a program (Scholarships/ Research) properly you are going to apply for. 4. Think of SOP as a virtual interview and imagine a person asking you about skills and how can you contribute to their program, then write the answers you think you would have given if it would have been a real interview.
5. Don’t look for others’ SOP as those points will be in your mind rather than thinking about what your actual capabilities are. If you will write and tell your story on your own, it will surely make it unique.
6. To do all that, make sure you have searched the program properly, you know yourself well and it must match your interest as well as your academic background.
