The world is facing food security challenges, particularly in developing countries such as Syria, Yemen, Ethiopia, Lebanon, and Pakistan. Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) play a crucial role in horticultural crop production by enhancing growth and yield. PGRs such as cytokinins, gibberellins, and auxins stimulate plant cell growth, improve root, stem, and leaf development, and contribute to higher crop yield, quality, and uniformity. Additionally, they help in optimizing plant architecture, flowering, and fruiting, making horticultural production more efficient. Studying PGR applications in different crops will provide valuable insights into sustainable crop management strategies. By acquiring knowledge from leading Turkish universities, I aim to train farmers in Pakistan on the commercial application of PGRs to improve agricultural productivity and address food security challenges.
